Product description
RWS 30 is a 30-litre water softening system that reduces the hardness of water entering the building; installed together with a sediment pre-filter and UV filter, it rids the water of limescale, coarse dirt and microorganisms.
Who is the RWS 30 suitable for?
For detached houses, villas and flats with high water consumption. It measures 39 × 46.5 × 99 cm.
How does it work?
As water passes through the mineral tank, calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged with sodium ions on the resin beads; the hardness is held in the resin and the softened water flows into the plumbing. When the resin is saturated, the system recharges itself with the brine solution from the salt tank (regeneration), followed by backwashing and rinsing. All cycles are managed by the electronic control unit on the tank.
The sediment pre-filter at the water inlet captures coarse suspended sediment; the UV filter inactivates microorganisms with UV-C light.
