What does the Rainwater warranty cover?

If a Rainwater product fails during the warranty period due to faulty materials or workmanship, the Rainwater warranty covers the repair or replacement of the product (at Rainwater’s discretion).

If any product part is out of stock (e.g. certain colour options), Rainwater will replace that part with a new one in working order. Your statutory rights are not affected by this warranty.

What is not covered by the Rainwater warranty?

Rainwater devices are designed and manufactured to deliver consistently high performance in water purification for indoor use. If a Rainwater product is used for its intended purpose and fails during the warranty period, it is our responsibility to repair or replace the device.

However, there may be cases in which the Rainwater warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of the device. These are listed below for your attention:

  • Normal wear and tear, including parts that may wear out with use over time (e.g. filters, buttons, sensors, batteries, plastic parts, etc.).
  • Accidental damage.
  • Faults caused by voltage sources that do not match the values stated on the product label.
  • Damage resulting from failure to carry out the recommended device maintenance.
  • Clearing blockages. If your Rainwater device becomes blocked, please refer to the Rainwater User Manual for details on how to clear it. If you are unsure, you can call our customer support line free of charge on 444 0 420. A Rainwater specialist will help you with what to do.
  • Damage from external causes such as transport, leaks, power cuts or power surges.
  • Faults occurring outside Rainwater’s control.

Faults resulting from:

  • Use of the device for purposes other than intended, or without maintenance or due care;
  • Failure to use the water purifiers in accordance with the Rainwater User Manual;
  • Use of the Rainwater device other than for normal household use in the country where it was purchased;
  • Use of parts not fitted or installed in accordance with Rainwater’s instructions;
  • Use of parts and accessories that are not genuine Rainwater parts. You can find all genuine Rainwater spare parts and accessories for every Rainwater device at www.rainwater.com.tr;
  • Incorrect fitting or installation (except where carried out by Rainwater);
  • Repairs or modifications carried out by persons other than Rainwater or its authorised representatives.

What are the warranty terms and conditions?

Before any work is carried out on your device under the warranty, your delivery/purchase documents must be ready. Please note that a charge will be made for work carried out without these documents. Please always keep your purchase invoice or delivery form. All work will be carried out by Rainwater or its authorised representatives.

Replaced parts will become the property of Rainwater.

The time your device spends being repaired under the warranty will be added to the warranty period. The maximum repair time is 20 working days. If the fault cannot be resolved within 10 working days, Rainwater is obliged to provide the consumer with another product with similar features to use. The warranty provides additional rights that supplement, and do not affect, your statutory rights as a consumer.

When does the warranty start?

The warranty comes into effect on the date of purchase (or on the date of delivery, if later).

Where is the Rainwater warranty valid?

If a Rainwater-branded device is sold abroad, this warranty is valid only on condition that the device is used in the country in which it was sold. If you take your Rainwater-branded device abroad, the warranty may become void. However, we will do our best to help you in your new country of residence.

Can the Rainwater product warranty be transferred?

Rainwater warranties can be transferred together with the device. However, for this, the original proof of purchase obtained from an authorised seller must be presented with every change of ownership of the device, together with documents proving that the device is in good working order.
