RWS 8 is a compact Rainwater system designed for water softening and whole-house treatment in the home. By reducing calcium and magnesium in hard water, it protects appliances, improves laundry and dishwashing results, and makes water more pleasant to use everywhere from the kitchen to the bathroom.

White limescale marks on taps, combi boilers and washing machines that break down quickly, skin that feels dry after a shower… The common cause is often hard water. RWS 8 is a compact 11-litre domestic water softening system that reduces the hardness of the water entering the building.
Who is RWS 8 suitable for?
For flats and small houses. Measuring 35 × 44 × 55 cm, it fits into tight spaces such as under the stairs, a kitchen cupboard or a utility room.
How does it work?
As water passes through the mineral tank, calcium and magnesium ions swap places with sodium ions on the resin beads; the hardness is retained by the resin and the softened water flows on to the plumbing. When the resin is saturated, the system recharges itself with the solution from the brine tank (regeneration), then backwashes and rinses. All cycles are managed by the electronic control unit on the tank.

Installation and maintenance
RWS 8 is connected to the building's water inlet. The salt level is shown on the display, and it gives a warning when salt runs low. In holiday mode, unnecessary regeneration is avoided. For maintenance, you can submit a request via the technical service form.
