Rainwater NW 400 has been developed to mechanically remove suspended solids such as sand, silt, rust and mud from water. Thanks to its special centrifugal (cyclonic) technology, it separates heavy particles in the water by centrifugal force and directs them to the bottom of the filter bowl. This delays clogging of the filter cartridge, extending its service life and ensuring low pressure loss across the system. Manufactured with Made in Belgium engineering, the NW 400 delivers consistent water quality and long-lasting equipment performance in industry and facility management.
Its advanced cyclonic design separates coarse sediment before it reaches the filter element, resulting in less maintenance and higher operating efficiency.
With an average flow capacity of 12 m³/hour, it provides powerful filtration on production lines without reducing water pressure.
The 1010 cm² filtration area maximises particle-holding capacity and optimises filter replacement intervals.
The filter's level of contamination can be easily checked visually through the transparent housing, without having to shut down the system.

Pressure loss (bar) by flow rate; shows how much pressure the filter loses at each flow rate.

The bowl and filter element can be removed for easy cleaning or replacement.

Sand, silt, rust and sediment carried in mains, well or rain water wear out plumbing, pumps and downstream purification units. The NW 400 is a sediment pre-filter fitted at the water inlet that mechanically captures these solid particles.
For production facilities, industry and high-volume water applications. With a 1 1/2” connection size, it provides an average flow rate of 12 m³/hour.
As water passes through the filter element, the 25-micron pores let the water through and hold back larger particles; this is a purely physical, not chemical, filtration. The multi-layer filter structure retains dirt better even under high sediment loads, and the large filtration surface provides high flow and low pressure loss.
A sediment filter does not on its own remove dissolved chemicals such as chlorine, or microorganisms; for this reason, it is used as a pre-filter ahead of softening, activated carbon, reverse osmosis and UV systems, protecting them.
Installed on the water inlet line. The filter element can be cleaned or replaced; you can tell the filter is full when the pressure difference increases and the flow drops. The product is covered by a 2+8 year warranty.

It mechanically captures solid particles in the water such as sand, silt, rust and sediment, protecting the plumbing and downstream purification units.
No. A sediment filter only captures solid particles; activated carbon is needed for chlorine, and UV or reverse osmosis for microorganisms.
With a 1 1/2” connection size, it provides an average flow rate of 12 m³/hour.
As the filter fills up, the pressure difference between inlet and outlet increases and the flow drops; this indicates that it is time to clean or replace it.
It is covered by a 2+8 year warranty.
