Well, rain or tank water may carry a risk of bacteria and viruses; mains water can also become contaminated in building plumbing and storage tanks. The Rainwater TRIO UV 10100 is a system that sterilises water with UV-C light without using chemicals; it does not change the taste or odour of the water and creates no by-products.
Who is the Rainwater TRIO UV 10100 for?
Apartment buildings and housing estates, hotels, restaurants, cafés, social and sports facilities, agriculture and livestock applications, and sites that use rain or well water. It sterilises up to 5.5 m³ of water per hour (at a dose of 25 mJ/cm²).
How does it work?
The water passes through a treatment chamber containing a 95 W amalgam UV lamp; the UV-C light inactivates microorganisms by preventing them from reproducing. The TRIO system combines three processes in a single integrated system: mechanical filters trap sand, sediment, rust and suspended matter, activated carbon provides pre-filtration, and the UV-C unit then inactivates any remaining bacteria and viruses without using chemicals.

Installation and maintenance
It is installed on the water inlet line. The UV lamp is replaced once a year and the quartz sleeve on average every 5 years. For maintenance, you can submit a request through the technical service form.
