UV-C sterilisation for higher flow rates

Rainwater UV 4100 is designed to use the UV-C wavelength to inactivate microorganisms in water without chemicals. With a maximum flow rate of 2.1 m³/hour, it delivers stable sterilisation performance in domestic and commercial water applications.

  • 40 W UV lamp power

Higher lamp power delivers effective UV-C sterilisation performance in heavy-use scenarios.

  • Microbiological safety

Raises the hygiene level of water by providing physical disinfection against bacteria, viruses and protozoa.

  • No change in taste or odour

As UV technology adds no chemicals to the water, it preserves the water's natural character.

  • Suitable for various water sources

Aims for safe use with mains water, well water, spring water and stored water, together with pre-filtration.

Highlights

  • UV-C sterilisation

Water passes through UV-C light; microorganisms are inactivated without the use of chemicals.

  • Quartz support system

A spring support holds the quartz glass in place and protects it during transport.

Product description

Well, rain or tank water may carry a risk of bacteria and viruses; mains water can also become contaminated in building plumbing and storage tanks. Rainwater UV 4100 is a system that sterilises water with UV-C light without using chemicals; it does not alter the taste or odour of the water and creates no by-products.

Who is Rainwater UV 4100 suitable for?

For apartment buildings and housing estates, hotels, restaurants, cafés, social and sports facilities, agricultural and livestock applications, and places that use rain and well water. It sterilises up to 2.1 m³ of water per hour (at a dose of 25 mJ/cm²).

How does it work?

Water passes through a treatment chamber containing a 40 W UV lamp; UV-C light inactivates microorganisms by preventing them from reproducing. The UV unit is installed on its own; for best results, it should be preceded by a mechanical and activated carbon pre-filter, because suspended particles prevent UV light from penetrating the water.
