Product description
Well, rain or tank water may carry a risk of bacteria and viruses; mains water can also become contaminated in building plumbing and storage tanks. The Rainwater UV 10100 is a system that sterilises water with UV-C light without using chemicals; it does not change the taste or odour of the water and does not create by-products.
Who is the Rainwater UV 10100 for?
For apartment buildings and housing estates, hotels, restaurants, cafés, social and sports facilities, agricultural and livestock applications, and places that use rainwater and well water. It sterilises up to 6.8 m³ of water per hour (at a dose of 25 mJ/cm²).
How does it work?
Water passes through a treatment chamber containing a 95 W amalgam UV lamp; UV-C light inactivates microorganisms by preventing them from multiplying. The UV unit is installed on its own; for best results, it should be preceded by mechanical and activated carbon pre-filters, because suspended particles prevent UV light from penetrating the water.

Installation and maintenance
It is installed on the water inlet line. The UV lamp is replaced once a year and the quartz sleeve every 5 years on average. For maintenance, you can submit a request via the technical service form.
